Small Travel Warning for Saumi Island in Thailand
The south Thailand Island Samui in Surat Thani Province has had flood warning for a while now and the road that goes around the Island is flooded. The main tourist areas such as Chaweng and Lamai beaches has been given the V.I.P treatment and are not affected or well yes they are but the government are pumping water day and night so the tourist can not see.
If you planning to drive or go by buss to Saumi try flying or wait to after this Sunday then the peak flooding is coming.
In Bangkok there will be very little flood except for the slums living outside the barrier and along the river.
