The Thai cleaner from hell
I have a cleaner in my house she comes sometimes when she is running out of money that’s very normal for a cleaner and you can not rush them then they just disappear.
My house was in desperate need of a Christmas Cleaning so I asked her to bring a friend along and I would pay extra money for the both of them
Finally she got one old lady from somewhere and they decided to stop by on Sunday Christmas Eve.
My normal cleaner know I do not want cleaning Thai style and that is putting everything you see in bags or boxes because then it looks like you actually doing something. But the other cleaning lady had no clue about this so she started to take my stuff on the shelf and stuff it in the biggest box she could find. Why have things sorted on many shelf’s when you can have it all in a box on one shelf right?
I told her a millions times not to do it and she kind of understood and tried not to put to much stuff in boxed anymore. Instead of using my mop she took a bucket of water and put all the water on the floor I could just scream “noooo†and look in horror when the water reached my wooden cupboards. The other cleaner quickly rescued my cupboards by showing her how to use a mop.
She then went up to my office and start throwing away business card and notes I have collected since she thought they were junk. I had even told her 4 min before “do not touch the table clean around the table but not on it†I guess it was too big of temptation.
I let my regular cleaner do the rest of the office while the older lady went in to my bedroom start checking out my DVDs. She also managed to rip out all my cables without cleaning them and for no reason what so ever.
When I checked her progress I could see she has thrown away 50 DVD in a plastic bag and that forced me to check every garbage bag they had used.
I told her to go clean the bathroom and nothing in there was to been thrown away all of the things in there was for me to use and not to be put in some plastic bag.
She used more water then I use for 10 days of showering but still she managed to forget to clean the toilet and the shower walls the main thing I wanted to be scrubbed.
When everything was finished they both forget to take off the fingerprints, the lizards poo, the windows, behind the sofas and many other things. Thai cleaning is not about getting stuff clean its more about making it look like they are actually doing something.
Please do not tell me I am using the wrong cleaner and this only happened to me I been using 10 different once and they are all the same.
