It is the time of the year when Thailand is flooded again. I do not understand why people are surprised about it. We cut down and move away all the green in Bangkok, Phuket and other places and we expect the water to just vanish?
You will see pictures in the news until December with Bangkok and other parts of Thailand flooded its just part of the natural system.
Then we have the market people and street vendors that every day shoots them selves in the foot by sending oil down the pipes. How much junk do you think each vendor put down every year? Thailand that has so much oil in the food should really start recycled it and not let street vendors just put it down the drains.
Even if the flooding can be kind of fun when you are on holiday you should not walk in the water.
1. It is full with dirt you can get very sick.
2. Rates and snakes come out and can bite you.
3. You do not know if you stepping in a manhole and are sucked away.
4. People get electrocuted each year by cables under water.
Just wait it out, normally it does not take longer then 20 min to an hour before it goes away.
