The Thai government have put over 50 million to good use and bought software to block website that insults the monarch in Thailand.
I love the King of Thailand but I do not think blocking 2300 websites is the right way to go since you can open a website a second if you want. If you would need a court order for every website you will have so much to do.
Also some insults to the monarch are on blog and forum and closing them down is not fair since they can not control everything that is said there.
They also close down and arrest people that have server in Thailand. If your server and domain name is outside Thailand you can do what ever you like. The cyber criminal act in Thailand is the hardest in the world and it just got harder.
Some of the hardcore website they block are Hillary Clinton camping videos and 24 Charlie Chaplin movies; please do not ask me why.
