It is really a shame that when we try to save energy and power they have to turn Suan Lum market into another shopping mall. The contract has gone to Central department store and they already have World Trade, Central, Big C and loads of other shopping malls in this area.
The night bazaar is a lovely place for both tourist and locals to eat and walk around in all the small shops that can only exist in this open space area under the night sky.
We still going to have JJ but it is only on weekends and in the hot season you must be desperate for something new or old if you want to run around there under the burning sun. Only first time tourist flocks there in the weekend during this time of the year.
I think we should keep this green area city landmarks maybe even make it greener and bigger. Who needs another shopping mall when some of them are like empty graves anyway?
