South Thailand tourist areas are hit by big continues waves

South Thailand has been haunted by big waves from 2 to 3 meters hitting the beaches. Some scientist blame the long lasted problem on the global warming but its to early to tell. The waves if its stays for long are going to affect the tourist industry in the Samui area and off course the Full Moon Party’s. Further warnings has gone out to this areas they might be affected Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang, Satun, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Yala, Pattani and Narathiwat.

As a tourist use your own judgment do not go day tripping in small boats if the sea have big waves and do not use the small speed boats even if they say its safe. They want to make money and this driver does not have the good sense to stop themselves.
