Samut Sakhon Province influence on the economic of Thailand

Samut Sakhon is one of the homey provinces of Thailand. Samut Sakhon is located at the entry of the Tha Chin Klong River, a distributary of the Chao Phraya River, to the Gulf of Thailand. At the coast to the sea are umpteen fields used for sea snap production. Samut Sakhon was formerly called “Tha Chin” equivalent as the advance of the river, regular because, in the old days, it had been a trading port dealing with a vast number of Chinese junks.

The name of the town was changed into “Mahachai” when Khlong (canal) Mahachai was dug in 1704 to join the Tha Chin River at the town. Later, the town was renamed Samut Sakhon by King Rama IV but it is still popularly called “Mahachai” by the villagers. The province is subdivided into 3 districts which are Muang Samut Sakhon, Krathum Baen, and Ban Phaeo. The districts are further subdivided into 40 communes and 288 villages.

 

Samut Sakhon is a fundamental fishing port and and the biggest aim of brine salt. So you can see about the hefty seafood tout slick and it’s the big place that gathered all brine salt fish sellers there. We can also say that Samut Sakhon is one of the important provinces that has the influence on the economic of Thailand.
