The Red Shirts have promised a final show down really the 29 of November to bring down the current government. They are probably pushed by the fact that Thaksin their ousted leader is in Cambodia and ready to fly over if things would go the Red Shirts way. The problem is last time they had a rally they it ended in blood bath and they don’t have much sympathy in Bangkok were people just want to work and make money.
The Red Shirts biggest support groups are from the North East of Thailand and it is long way from the power in Bangkok. Despite that the Red Shirt has promised one million supports and that they will bring down the Thai government before they go home. But they will take a break from 3-5 December to celebrate the King Of Thailand Birthday.
We will like to offer a small travel warning around this time since the traffic probably will come to a total stop and it might be clashes with police.
