As if the farang had not enough problems with the taxi meter in Thailand. Now they have to stand up to Taxi drivers that not upgrade their taxi meter but still want more money.
The Thai government have not upgraded all the taxi meters yet in Thailand so some taxi meter have asked for more then what the meter shows. The taxi meter that has been upgraded will have a sticker (that can be removed thank you very much) so the public can see who has upgraded. What a joke, do not pay more then the taxi meter show it will be fixed in a few weeks anyway.
Ohh BTW the “taxi meter†in Pattaya is a joke they want more money then any Tuk Tuk you can find so just ignore them.
