My friend that got caught by the Pattaya immigration because some nice friendly person had paid money to them has finally been released. Now the fine he had to pay was 1000 THB and the bribes he had to pay not got to prison was 49 000 THB. Even if he had bail money they still wanted money to let him go, to come back to the office, to work after hours and to basically not look him up even after he had been to court.
I think this behavior is bad for Thailand reputation as a investment county. So sad that a group of people can ruin the image of Thailand so quick just because to they can have a second wife and go out and drink with friend.
Or did you really think that the new SUV parked outside could be bought by Government salary?
