Nakhon Si Thammarat (often in hasty Nakhon) is one of the southern provinces of Thailand, at the eastern substratum of the Gulf of Thailand. The propose of the tract derives from its Pali-Sanskrit instance Nagara Sri Dhammaraja (City of the Sacred Dharma King), which in Thai pronunciation becames Nakhon Si Thammarat.
