Do not travel to north Thailand now

North Thailand is not the place you should go for a holiday right now. A wild fire has stricken the Border Mountains between Burma and Thailand near Chang Rai. The Thai are saying that the fire is all on the Burmese side but some people think the Thais are blaming Burmese for the fire and some part of Thailand is also burning. There are no fire fighters on the Burmese side since the whole area is under guerillas control and the government has no means to put the fire under control. The Thai government have canceled the yearly fire fight exercise and put all men to monitor the border to stop the fire if it comes to close.
