As you can see we changed the “permalinks†in our blog. That means that we instead of using date/postname we just postname now as a link. All the old links will be found in the same place as before but starting from today all new once will have shorter URL.

Just install the permalinks plugin and change the permalinks in your WordPress and you are set to go.
