In some neighbouring news Cambodian Police have “invited†several foreigners to come to the police station and talk about the distributing of leaflets urging the release of two men convicted of the murder of a trade union leader. The reason why they do it now is because now is an annual donor meeting. Several human rights groups have claimed the men arrested and convicted are just scape goats.
The meeting comprises key bilateral donors to Cambodia including the US, Germany, Japan and South Korea, and the Asian Development Bank, the European Commission, the International Monetary Fund, the United Nations Development Programme and the World Bank
