The internet provider in Thailand Buddy Broadband has a Trojan horse on its English website.
We tried to access the website many time but as you can see the Trojan horse is still there. Probably they do not check the website that often and it is very difficult to get hold of an English speaking staff. If you know somebody that works in Buddy please tell them about this problem.
Further I would really not recommend Buddy broadband to anyone because I tried it for 1 year and it was the slowest internet I had in Thailand and the software you need to install on your computer really slow you down.

I think they software is special since they connect with the TV as well. I am sure you could find a cheap modem of for example craiglist in Thailand or something. Many expats leaving and want to sell. True internet force you to buy one every time you move otherwise they will always blame your modem and not their connection. Hve you checked that CAT does not install in your area most of the time they can do it anywhere and you not need phone.

Thought so.
Im buying a billion adsl modem, that im familiar with.
Any settings to be aware of? Im going to pantip tomorrow, probably they also know.
Usually its just to plug and play.
Sounds like Buddy have many unexperienced staff, and a bad policy about their supporting software.
Thanks for the tips.

Well i was trying to give back the modem now that they BTW wants 11 000 THB for if you loose and i know i gave the agent money for it. But now they said i never did it and i can not find any receipt i do not think i got one. Further the modem software is so full with extra junk and spy software that it will take up 45 MB on your computer. You do not need their modem but they will say you need it.
